Payment Information

Get an in-network experience with out-of-network benefits.

Our sessions are 45 minutes in length and we take insurance. There’s an out-of-pocket rate of $200-$250 for Individuals, $225-$275 for Couples, and $275-$300 for EMDR Therapy, until you meet your deductible – this is a sliding scale that varies depending on your specific insurance plan. We’ll discuss fees when you schedule your first appointment. We’ll also submit claims on your behalf, which means you get an in-network experience no matter what.

Payment is due at the time of service. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being billed. Please understand that if we can’t reschedule or you make a late cancellation, you’ll be charged the full session fee.

Our sessions are available in person, over the phone, or via Facetime or Skype.

Disclaimers

We offer courtesy billing with preset fee schedules is a way to streamline the payment process for patients, similar to the experience of being in-network. Here’s how it works:

Preset Fee Schedules:
  • We establish predetermined fees based on their out of network coverage, making it clear to patients what they’ll be charged. This helps in providing transparency and managing expectations.
Submitting Claims on Behalf of Patients:
  • Instead of patients having to pay upfront and then seek reimbursement from their insurance, we take care of the billing process. We submit claims directly to the insurance company on behalf of the patients, reducing the burden on them.
Minimizing Waiting for Reimbursements:
  • By handling the billing process, we aim to expedite the reimbursement process. Patients don’t have to wait for their insurance companies to process claims and send reimbursements, making the overall experience more convenient.
In-Network-Like Experience:
  • The goal is to mimic the smoother experience typically associated with in-network providers. Patients can attend sessions, pay their preset copays, and not worry about dealing with complex reimbursement processes.
Patient Responsibility Limited to Copays:
  • Patients are responsible only for their preset copays, simplifying their financial obligations. This clear and straightforward approach enhances the overall patient experience and reduces any financial uncertainty for the patients.
